Biography: Margaret Driscoll is an instructor in the Instructional Design Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston Graduate School of Education. She also works as a consultant, speaker, and workshop facilitator bringing fourteen years' experience with organizations such as the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Digital Equipment Corporation, BayBank, Stratus, Interleaf, Compaq Computer, and Fidelity Investments. Her experience as a distance educator in high-tech fields, medical education, financial services, and academic institutions has exposed her to the real-world challenges and opportunities that trainers face.
Ms. Driscoll holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Boston College; and M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Boston; and a Master's degree in Adult and Higher Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she is a doctoral candidate studying the design of Web-based training in high-tech environments. Her research papers have appeared in the
